Time for diet

This is super serious. I need to lose weights!!! I need a real diet!!
Now I'm following a diet meal plan that last for 12 weeks and I want to complete it.
The plan combine 3 type of meal; low carb, low GI/GL , and high GI/GL. Each day I should eat around 1000 kcal. It's not too little to fill my stomach but I need to be careful of what I eat.
Basically, I try to increase protein and veg while cut down all carb and fruit (which is really difficult for me, I love fruit).
I just realize I can eat a lot more when I cut down all those carb.
However, I still wanna eat spicy food so I try Korean food this time; Dakgalbi or spicy bruised chicken

Ingredient
- chicken (I used chicken breast cause I'm on diet but actually drum stick is good too)
- veggie: cabbage, carrot, onion, chilli, and green onion
(Normally there are potatoes or yam or rice cake too but I cut down carb as much as possible)
-sauce: gochujang (chilli paste), garlic, a thumb size of ginger, soyu, mirin (or sugar), chilli flake, and little if water

Start
Marinate chicken with salt and pepper and leave it
Chop all veggie into bite size
Make sauce by combine everything
Put all veggie on flat pan then top with chicken and half of sauce, cook it for 2-3 minute
Stir it sometime so it won't stick to pan
Cook it for total 20minute until everything soft and water reduce.
Enjoy~

See, it really easy and contain lots of veggie and lean protein
If you're not on diet, it's good eating with rice too

But for now, I need to find more diet recipe

Wanna eat gyoza!!!

Due to heavy snow and my hectic schedule, I can't go out of campus!!
But I want to eat ramen and gyoza for many days so I decide to make it myself.
You know, gyoza isn't really Japanese. It's Chinese.
For me, I think Japanese gyoza and chinese gyoza is different and I prefer Japanese. What I like is the half stream half fry gyoza. So this is how I made it.

Ingredient
- gyoza wrap
- ground pork
- finely chopped cabbage
- finely chopped chives
- chopped garlic
- sesame oil
- salt & pepper
- soy sauce

Recipe
Seasoning ground pork with salt, pepper and a little soy sauce
Mix pork with garlic, cabbage and chives together
Put filling in the wrap and fold into semicircle or any shape you like and seal it type
Lay the gyoza then add some water in the pan
Cover with lid for a while for streaming then let water dry then let them fry until one side is crispy

Enjoy~

Apple & strawberry pie

Being in Japan is really fun for me. But living alone in limited dorm can be boring.  Especially now here is winter and everything is white. Plus this thesis is killing me now!! So I want to do something fun to release all the stress. I enjoy cooking. It's a good way to relax for me. (Not to mention that I NEED to cook 'cause food in cafeteria is the worst!!!) So, here we go!! (*^o^*)

Apple and strawberry pie
I made this for valentine party. I don't have a cake tin in my dorm so I used this rustic way but it turned out cute and everyone love it ( *`ω´)
Ingredient
- 1&1/2 cups of plain flour
- 1/2 chill butter
- 1/3 cup of sugar for crust and 1/4 cup for filling
- 1/4 cold water (maybe less)
- pinch of salt
- egg for egg brush
- 2 apples
- handful of strawberry
- lemon juice
- vanilla and cinnamon

Recipe
Add flour and salt into big bowl, rub in the butter to get breadcrumb texture
Pour in a little water at a time the mix it to make a dough then wrap with plastic wrap, leave it in refrigerator for half an hour
Mix slides or chopped apples with strawberry and sugar, vanilla, lemon juice and cinnamon
Roll the dough into round shape (should be a little thick) place on baking sheet
Put filling in the middle the fold the edge of the dough over the filling to make a nice shape, brush the crust with beaten egg and sprinkle with a little sugar
Bake for 20 - 25 minute at 220C until the crust is golden brown, let it cool down before serve

Enjoy!!! (^ν^)
